Student Transfer Portal For Currently Enrolled Out-Of-District Students

Welcome to the Maconaquah School Corporation Student Transfer Portal for Out-Of-District students! We are glad you have chosen to entrust Maconaquah School Corporation with your students' education.   Before completing the application, please take a few minutes to review the requirements for acceptance at our schools.

CURRENTLY ENROLLED OUT-OF-DISTRICT MACONAQUAH STUDENTS

  • One application per student: Each student in the household needs their own application.
  • Renewing Transfers: Out-of-district transfers are valid for one year (July 1st to June 30th). You'll need to renew annually.
  • Transportation: The parents, guardian, custodian, or student agrees to provide his/her own transportation to and from the school. If a student resides at an address that is already included in an official route description, transportation may be available for the student.
  • Application Requirements: All applications must be complete to be processed. A separate application is needed for each child in your household.

 

Automatic Renewal (Current Students Only):

Students enrolled in Maconaquah Schools for the 2023-2024 school year will be automatically renewed for the following year as long as their application is submitted by May 15th, 2024, and meets the following criteria:

  • No suspensions or expulsions exceeding 10 days in the past year.
  • No suspensions or expulsions for possessing weapons in the past year.
  • No suspensions or expulsions for causing physical injury.
  • No history of unexcused absences.
  • Not transferring solely for athletic reasons.

 

Missed Automatic Renewal - (Current Students Only)

If you miss the application deadline for automatic renewal, then please refer to the application process for all other out-of-district applicants (details not included here).

**IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN-DISTRICT STUDENT AT MACONAQUAH YOU DO NOT NEED TO FILL THIS FORM OUT**

The Out-of-District Transfer Application must be completed by ALL Out-of-District Students prior to enrollment and submitted to the Maconaquah School Corporation Office (The online application automatically goes to the Corporation office when it is submitted).  Applicants will be considered for acceptance on a first come first serve basis using the following criteria; discipline record, attendance record, and class capacity. 

*All families will be notified via the email address used on the application on or before June 1, 2024, for First Semester Applications.
